The Mariposa Butterfly Blanket

Please enjoy a throwback to our Mariposa Butterfly Blanket crochet pattern 😀. This pattern was created so that I could gift the blanket to a university friend’s new tiny baby. Who doesn’t love butterflies?! As the pattern is square-based it can effortlessly be adapted to make a beautiful blanket of any size.

I’ve always been fascinated by butterflies. When you walk through a butterfly house you can’t help but stare at all of the beautiful colours and patterns featured on the butterflies. I designed this pattern so that you could easily customise the butterfly motif and make each square entirely unique. The crochet pattern file even includes a handy blank motif so that you can readily design your own excluive motif. Both written and graphical instructions are also included for your convenience.
