My Nemesis, Crochet Along Plans, and Baby Blankets Galore
Life is never quiet or dull when you are a crochet mum lol. This month my girls have been yo-yoing between loving and hating the hot UK weather (fortunately for me it has now cooled off). Ice lollies have been an essential tool in my mum arsenal when the ‘hot and bothered’ grumps have attacked. We even decided to have an ‘ice-cream for dinner’ day (with sprinkles and sweeties of course) as part of the husbeast’s birthday celebration - this MUST become an annual tradition!
Crochet-wise I’ve been a busy little bee working on new designs, starting a few gifts and having a ‘middle of the night whilst feeding’ epiphany that a winter CAL for this year would be SO MUCH FUN 😁. So many of my ideas recently have struck during these ‘middle of the night’ periods of semi-wakefulness… possibly because I’m more relaxed? Here’s hoping that the creative juices keep flowing when my maternity leave ends in August.
