15 Fabulous Easter Crochet Patterns

Easter… another excuse to crochet 😁 (not that we need one lol). Whilst I do not celebrate the religious aspects of this holiday, I have many a fond memory of Easter celebrations with my extended family growing up. Egg painting and hunts, family roast dinners, playing games with cousins… and much more besides. Who wouldn’t appreciate receiving a crocheted gift for Easter!

Below you will find a collection of fifteen crochet patterns capable of bringing Easter cheer to any home. From beginner to expert crocheter, for those short on time or wishing to enjoy a slow crochet project, there is something for everyone.

  1. The So Eggstra Blanket from Elimee Designs - I had so much fun designing this pattern! Who doesn’t love a uniquely-patterened Easter egg? For those who feel unsure about using colourwork (the pattern includes some handy video tutorials), a unique pattern could alternatively be achieved using variegated yarn.

2. Serena the Sleepy Bunny from Seashell Crochet - this adorable sleeping bunny amigurumi crochet pattern would make a perfect Easter gift for your mini-mes! It’s just so cute 😀. Bonus point - you could also use it as a baby shower gift.

3. The Spring Time Wreath from Flo’s Crafty Crochet - wouldn’t this adorable wreath bring a little Easter cheer to your home! One of my crochet goals is to make a wreath for every season to display in our home. A lot of the elements would also lend themselves well to a Mother’s Day wreath.

4. The Blooming Easter Basket from Blackstone Designs - I had to inlude this crochet pattern because my daughter’s would love to have one of these for their Easter egg hunt. It’s just adorable!

5. Egg Crochet Covers from Hooked on Patterns - so Easter crochet patterns are apparently nothing but cuteness 😀. Our next suggestion are these adorable egg covers! Personally, the wee chick is my favourite. I would have to pop it on a real egg though as I’m not a fan of the associated confection lol.

6. The Little Snuggles No Sew Bunny from Life Crafter Love - now this is the kind of amigurumi pattern that I need to try! If you’ve seen episode 5 of the Elimee Designs video blog you’ll know that amigurumi are not my forte 😅. Whilst I can crochet the parts with no issue, aesthetically pleasing assembly often alludes me.

7. Super Easy Carrot Bunting from Eye Love Knots - here is the ideal pattern for those of you with limited crochet time. This charming carrot bunting will add a splash of Easter to your festivities!

8. Crochet Easter Gnome from Golden Lucy Crafts - whether you know them as gnomes or gonks, aren’t they sweet! These are perhaps the cutest gnomes that I have ever seen. These appliques can help you to bring a spot of Easter to any crochet pattern.

9. An Easter Bunny Potholder from Raffamusa Designs - a crochet pattern for those of you after something more practical. A great project for anyone wishing to dabble in tapestry crochet. Hop into spring with this delightful potholder.

10. Crochet Easter Egg from Cosie Rosie Crochet - I couldn’t have an Easter crochet pattern round-up without a 3D Easter egg pattern! Courtesy of being crocheted using blanket yarn these eggs are both pretty to look at and pretty quick to make 😀.

11. A Bunny Applique from Hookfully - apologies for the many bunnies… they’re just so darn cute! This little darling comes with a carrot too 😁. How could you resist?

12. Large Crochet Carrots from Jen Hayes Creations - I couldn’t pass over this carrot crochet pattern. The curly carrot tops drew me in! I’ll be amazed if you’ve come across a more realistic looking pattern than this one.

13. The Pipsqueak Bunny Bag from A Crocheted Simplicity - ok, yes, it’s a second Easter-themed basket/bag… but it’s so fluffy! I totally want to quote a phrase about fluffiness from a well known animated movie here, but don’t want to get into trouble 😂.

14. A Crochet Baby Chick from Kathy’s Kozies - if you have made it this far you’re probably experiencing cuteness overload. Sorry, not sorry, but the cuteness doesn’t end here… just look at these baby chicks!

15. An Easter Crochet Pattern Set from Crochet To Play - let us go out on a high with this fabulous Easter amigurumi bundle! A bundle means that you don’t have to choose, you can have them all 😀. You can thank me later lol.
